DESCRIPTION:On March 1st and 2nd\, Father Kevin Barrett will be celebrating Mass in conjunction with the First Friday and First Saturday devotions\, and giving a presentation on imitating the Holy Family and on family consecration. Father Kevin Barrett is the chaplain for the Apostolate for Family Consecration. Recognizing our shared mission\, he has been a long time supporter of Our Lady of America. He was deeply moved by his pilgrimages to Fatima and Lourdes and became more involved in the work of the AFC before becoming their chaplain. Their ranks will be swelled by the youths of other nations whom Our Lady also calls to help in the accomplishment of this great renewal.” -Diary of Sister Mary Ephrem \nOn the First Saturday of May\, we will be celebrating a children’s Mass with May crowning at Our Lady\, Patroness of America Center. We would love to see young people leading the Rosary beforehand\, participating as greeters and readers\, crowning Our Lady\, and/or singing in the choir. If your child(ren) would like to participate\, please send an email to claire.s@patronessofamerica.org. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 am and the Mass will begin at 11 am on Saturday\, May 4th. DESCRIPTION:Let us be part of your Eucharistic Congress journey! Our campus is just a two and a half hour’s drive from the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis!As pilgrims converge in Indianapolis for the congress\, our doors will be open to welcome them! We will have extended hours and daily presentations in conjunction with the Eucharistic Pilgrimage and Eucharistic Congress. We would love to be a part of your pilgrimage. Stop by on your way to and/or from Indy to take in our beautiful campus\, and to learn more about the devotion to Our Lady\, Patroness of America. Rest\, reflect\, and pray with us as the nation comes together for revival\, prayer\, and devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.  We will be open for pilgrims on Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm\, and on Sunday from 2 pm – 7 pm. On Monday\, Tuesday\, and Wednesday\, Fr. Jeff Pomeisl from the Archdiocese of New York will be here to celebrate Mass at 10 am. There will also be presentations and tours offered at 11 am daily.  If your schedule and our hours don’t line up\, give us a call and we will try and make it work.  We would love to meet you. DESCRIPTION:The Oratory welcomes back Monsignor Joseph Schaedel from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. \nAfter we received Bishop Kevin Rhoades’ decree in November 2020 establishing the Our Lady\, Patroness of America Center as a place of Pilgrimage and allowing the Sacraments of the Church in the Chapel\, we were allowed the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.   On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception\, December 8th\, 2020 (the height of the COVID-19 pandemic)\, Monsignor Schaedel offered the First Mass under the Bishop’s Decree in our Chapel. Events for 2020 Feast of The Immaculate Conception – Mass Live Streamed Dec. 8 – Our Lady Patroness of America Center.  The homily is worth revisiting. \nMonsignor has been a steadfast and fervent supporter of the devotion to Our Lady\, the Immaculate Virgin\, Patroness of America (Our Lady of America); during the long years of litigation to free the devotion from false claims of ownership\, Monsignor was an advocate\, advisor\, and friend. \nIn November 2007\, Monsignor welcomed the Our Lady of America statue to the Indianapolis parish of Holy Rosary\, where he was assigned as Pastor.  Our Lady of America – Indianapolis Visitation \nThe Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered at 6 p.m. on the first Friday of September in the Oratory of the Holy Family in reparation for offenses against the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We will walk along Fishingline Trail from Kendallville to Our Lady\, Patroness of America Center in Rome City\, with varying starting points and times based on the distance you want to walk.
