The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered on the First Saturday of January in the Mother of Mercy Chapel in reparation for offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  More importantly, it is the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God a Holy Day of obligation
