Make Our Lady of America Part of Your Fall
Fall is our favorite time here at the Our Lady, Patroness of America Center. The crisp air, fall colors and quiet times bring peace on the grounds and in the Oratory of the Holy Family. Will your fall travel bring you through Northeast Indiana?
Add a visit to Rome City around travel to football games, fall break or college events. We are just a short 20 minute drive from Interstate 80, 90 & 69 in northeast Indiana.
Tours are available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:00 AM. They run in length from 1 1/4 hours or longer depending on questions. If you can only stay for a part of the tour that is good as well. No pressure.
Tours for groups of 5 or more can be arranged at other times to accommodate your group’s schedule

If my husband and I visit from out of state(Texas), is there a place for us to stay on the grounds?
We do not have any overnight accommodations. Sorry. We recommend motels in Auburn, Kendallville, Angola and Howe Indiana. These vary from 15 to 30 minutes away.
Blessed LORD’s Day! Please reply to this inquiry/suggestion: The ornate pedestal for the statue of Our Lady of America should also include (in the bottom-most, rectangular area) the rest of her official title, like so (three CENTERED lines of text, which would fit perfectly in that space):
The
Immaculate
Virgin
Please let me know if this modification will be done any time soon, as it is imperative that Mary’s FULL title be on display (to reinforce the concept of absolute purity)!
Our Lady’s full title in this devotion is “Our Lady, the Immaculate virgin, Patroness of America. This title is in large raised bronze letters at the front edge the platform upon which the statue and pedestal rest. It has been this way for almost two years. This title comes from the act of the first U.S. bishop, John Carroll when he consecrated the United states to Our Lady, the Immaculate Virgin. Later at the first conference of U.S. bishops, then named Our Lady, the immaculate Virgin, Patroness of America. The title Our Lady of America and Our Lady, the Immaculate Virgin, Patroness of America are interchangeable as their meaning is the same.
