We have already had some great presentations and events this summer at the Patroness of America Center, but there is more to come! Save the date for our upcoming events and prepare to be inspired!
We are pleased to welcome Father Jeff back to the Patroness of America Center!
Father Jeff has served the Archdiocese of New York since his ordination in 1996, most recently at Saint Charles parish in Staten Island. He served as chaplain of Monsignor Farrell High School, an all-boys high school in Staten Island, until May of 2025. In June, he began serving in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on a temporary assignment. Throughout his priesthood, he has developed a rich spirituality of the Holy Family (which you will be hearing more about in both his homilies and presentations this weekend). He has been a long-time friend of the center and has been a great help in spreading the devotion to Our Lady of America. Like and subscribe to Father Jeff’s podcast, Pomcast – YouTube, to hear more great content on the faith.
On Friday, July 4th, he will be presenting on the Three Hearts of the Holy Family as the source of world peace and unfold how the Our Lady of America devotion brings us hope through this sublime message. On Saturday, July 5th, he will be presenting on the importance of St. Joseph in the Holy Family (and our families) within the Our Lady of America devotion. You’re also sure to catch some inspiring words in his homilies at the 6:00 pm Mass and the 11 am Mass.
You can’t miss this Louisiana deacon in September!
Deacon Cody Miller has served in the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana for over 30 years. His profound encounter with the work of Saint Louis de Montefort totally transformed his life, shaped his work in the New Evangelization, and continues to inspire his professional music career. He also serves as a spiritual director and in varying levels of formation work for the Legion of Mary. You can find more information at his website, deaconcody.com.
On September 5th, Deacon Cody will be giving a presentation on True Devotion to Mary. On Saturday, September 6th, he will be giving a presentation on Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. This mini-retreat will continue on through his preaching of the homilies at the 6:00 pm Mass on Friday, and the 11:00 am Mass on Saturday.
We will walk along Fishingline Trail from Kendallville to Our Lady, Patroness of America Center in Rome City, with varying starting points and times based on the distance you want to walk. Just choose your distance, hop on the bus at the Center, and we’ll walk with you from there. Following the walk, there will be a time of Adoration and Benediction, with dinner and fellowship on the plaza afterwards.
A Solemnity and a CFR; it doesn’t get any more fun than that!
Father Glenn is one of the eight founding members of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. He has served as a vocations director, novice master, and community servant. He also serves the community and others through spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, deliverance ministry, preaching, retreat leading, pilgrimage chaplaincy, and evangelization. He has appeared on EWTN, Relevant Radio, MaryTV of Medjugorje, and at Marian Conferences. He recently became a published author with his book, We Live in a Castle. Father Glenn currently serves as chaplain at Holy Family Farm in Monticello, New York.
Father Glenn Sudano, CFR, will be celebrating Mass for the Solemnity of All Saints on Saturday, November 1st at 11 am. Before the Mass, the Patriotic Rosary will be prayed in front of the statue of Our Lady of America in the Oratory at 10:25 am. Following Mass, there will be a light lunch provided.
