Walk with Jesus on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi! We will have a Eucharistic Procession from Saint Gaspar parish to the Oratory of the Holy Family immediately following the 10 am Mass at Saint Gaspar. Once the procession reaches the Oratory, there will be a short time of Adoration and Benediction, followed by a light meal provided by Saint Gaspar parish. The Oratory welcomes back Monsignor Joseph Schaedel from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. After we received Bishop Kevin Rhoades' decree in November 2020 establishing the Our Lady, Patroness of America Center as a place of Pilgrimage and allowing the Sacraments of the Church in the Chapel, we were allowed the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th, 2020 (the height of the COVID-19 pandemic), Monsignor Schaedel offered the First Mass under the Bishop's Decree in our Chapel. Join us on September 15th for the Third Annual Walking Pilgrimage in celebration of the 68th anniversary of the devotion to Our Lady of America. We will walk along Fishingline Trail from Kendallville to Our Lady, Patroness of America Center in Rome City, with varying starting points and times based on the distance you want to walk. Following the walk, there will be a time of Adoration and Benediction, with dinner and fellowship on the plaza afterwards.
