On the First Saturday of May, we will be celebrating a children’s Mass with May crowning at Our Lady, Patroness of America Center. We would love to see young people leading the Rosary beforehand, participating as greeters and readers, crowning Our Lady, and/or singing in the choir. If your child(ren) would like to participate, please send an email to claire.s@patronessofamerica.org. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 am and the Mass will begin at 11 am on Saturday, May 4th. Father Louis Fowoyo will be the main celebrant. After Mass, a free meal will be provided by The Orchid Catering. Let’s start the month of Mary in prayer and celebration together!

Details on the Five First Saturday Devotion 

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered at 6 p.m. on the first Friday of June in the Oratory of the Holy Family in reparation for offenses against the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. before Mass begins. After Mass is over, there will be a light supper and time for fellowship! In addition, Fr. Drew Curry and Dr. Tom Kintanar will lead us in praise and worship music on the plaza.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered at 11 am on the first Saturday of June in the Oratory of the Holy Family in reparation for offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Patriotic Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am before Mass begins in the side chapel in front of the statue of Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin, Patroness of America.

The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am before Mass begins in the side chapel in front of the statue of Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin, Patroness of America.

Details on the Five First Saturday Devotion 

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered at 6 pm on the first Friday of August in the Oratory of the Holy Family in reparation for offenses against the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Patriotic Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm before Mass begins. After Mass is ended there will be a light supper and time for fellowship. Afterward, we will have a praise and worship hour led by Shema Worship as we prepare for Eucharistic reservation the following day.

This is exciting news for the Oratory of the Holy Family as we prepare to welcome the Blessed Sacrament in continuous reservation in the Tabernacle! Reservation will be held in conjunction with our usual First Saturday Mass and devotions. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered at 11 am on the first Saturday of August in the Oratory of the Holy Family in reparation for offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Patriotic Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am before Mass begins in the side chapel in front of the statue of Our Lady the Immaculate Virgin, Patroness of America. Join us afterward for lunch and fellowship on the plaza!

The Oratory welcomes back Monsignor Joseph Schaedel from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.

After we received Bishop Kevin Rhoades’ decree in November 2020 establishing the Our Lady, Patroness of America Center as a place of Pilgrimage and allowing the Sacraments of the Church in the Chapel, we were allowed the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.   On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th, 2020 (the height of the COVID-19 pandemic), Monsignor Schaedel offered the First Mass under the Bishop’s Decree in our Chapel. Events for 2020 Feast of The Immaculate Conception – Mass Live Streamed Dec. 8 – Our Lady Patroness of America Center.  The homily is worth revisiting.

Monsignor has been a steadfast and fervent supporter of the devotion to Our Lady, the Immaculate Virgin, Patroness of America (Our Lady of America); during the long years of litigation to free the devotion from false claims of ownership, Monsignor was an advocate, advisor, and friend.

In November 2007, Monsignor welcomed the Our Lady of America statue to the Indianapolis parish of Holy Rosary, where he was assigned as Pastor.  Our Lady of America – Indianapolis Visitation

Fr. J. Steele, C.S.C., Pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kendallville and Blessed Sacrament Church in Albion, will be the celebrant.  Expect a great Homily and a beautiful Mass!
